You exercise, you eat right but still you’re not meeting your performance or weight management goals! Let My Fitness Company help you find the missing link.

At Rest

Using metabolic assessments, we measure your resting metabolic rate, which tells you how many calories you need each day. This information can be used as part of a nutrition plan that will help you achieve your weight management goals.

At Play

During an exercise assessment, we measure your current level of fitness for a specific sport, such as biking, running, etc. as well the intensity you should work out at to train efficiently and reach your fitness goals.

In addition, we measure exactly how many calories you use within each of the Heart Rate Zones. Why is this important? To give you a better understanding of how exercise impacts your nutritional needs, enabling you to fuel your workouts to maximum efficiency.

Fit exercise into your day

As part of the exercise assessment you will be provided with an 8 week personalized training plan. By training within your correct heart rate zones you eliminate doing workouts that do not contribute to attaining your fitness and/or weight management goals.

Using the numbers

Already following a training plan?

Most training plans use either threshold heart rate or heart rate zones to measure the level of effort for each workout. During an exercise assessment with My Fitness Company, both threshold and heart rate zones are measured. If you are considering a specific training plan, please mention it during the assessment, so that we can let you know about adjustments you might want to think about making.

Working with a coach or personal trainer?

My Fitness Company helps educate coaches and personal trainers in using data from New Leaf metabolic assessments. Please provide the results from your assessment to your coach or trainer so that they can use them in your training plan. Also, if they haven’t yet, feel free to have them contact us to discuss the use of metabolic assessments.

Coaching using assessment data?

We encourage coaches to come in and do a metabolic assessment so that they have a thorough understanding of the results and how to use them within their training plans. Special discounts apply.
